IST European Section

The European Section of the IST is the oldest Section and traditionally has been able to draw on the large number of toxinology researchers working in the region, whose work often encompasses toxins from around the World, since Europe itself is not home to as many toxin producing fauna and flora as some other regions.

Most Recent IST European Section Meeting

The most recent IST European Section Meeting was held in Leuven, Belgium, 7-10 September 2008. The venue was the Auditorium De Valk, Tiensestraat 42, B-3000 Leuven. There is a dedicated website for the Congress at www.istleuven2008.be A number of exciting speakers and topics were confirmed, which combined with the location, the delightful and historic town of Leuven, made this a meeting not to miss.
