Paying IST dues for existing members

If you are an IST Member and you subscribe to Toxicon as part of your membership, you must pay through the invoice sent to you by Elsevier.

If you are an IST Member and you have access to Toxicon through your institutional library or the internet, you can take advantage of the reduced rate IST dues, which exclude subscription to Toxicon. For this type of membership, you pay the IST Secretary, not Elsevier. You can pay either by cheque or credit card. For credit card payments, download the payment form here (pdf), fill it in and send it to the IST Secretary, Prof. Julian White. (Please note: credit card payments are actually made through the Women's & Children's Hospital, Adelaide, on behalf of the IST).

Membership fees, particularly for those also receiving Toxicon in the printed version, can change without notice, due to currency fluctuations. We endeavour to keep the downloadable payment forms up-to-date, but occasionally they may not reflect current dues.

As of April 2009 the dues are as follows:
Full membership (not receiving printed copy of Toxicon) = US$35 or Euro30
Full membership (receiving printed copy of Toxicon)*** = US$136
*** These members, after sending a payment form to the IST, will be contacted and billed directly by Elsevier, who publish Toxicon on behalf of the IST.

PLEASE NOTE: If paying by credit card, your credit card will be charged by the Women's & Children's Hospital, Adelaide, Australia, not directly by the IST. Please be aware of this before querying payment with your credit card provider. If you query the payment the transaction may be disallowed and the IST will be charged. We will recover this fee in addition to your subscription fee when you agree to be recharged for your membership dues. This will cost you more money, so be careful before you query your credit card payment statement in regard to IST dues. Also, you will be charged in Aus$, converted from the amount stated on the dues form. Please ensure all sections of the form are completed and legible. It is particularly important we have your current email address as this will be used for all communication between you and the IST, including newsletters.
